A four-goal blitz by Akhil Sirohi and three goals by Angad Kalaan saw Jindal Power score an easy 10-3-1/2 win over ASC-RVC in the inaugural Pool B match of the M3M HH Maharaja Jiwaji Rao Scindia Gold Cup 2013 in New Delhi on Tuesday.

In other matches of the day, 61st Cavalry got the better of Sahara Warriors 5-4, while Action Polo defeated favourites Jindal Steel & Power 6-5-1/2 in another Pool A encounter.

The semi-final of the tournament will be held on Friday, while the final will be played on Sunday after a rest day on Saturday.

Results: Jindal Power 10 (Siddhant Sharma 1, Edward Winterton 2, Akhil Sirohi 4, Angad Kalaan 3) bt ASC-RVC 3-1/2 (SS Kashyap 1, NS Khera 1, 1-1/2 goal on handicap).

61st Cavalry 5 (Vishal Chauhan 1, Ravi Rathore 2, Navjit Sandhu 2) bt Sahara Warriors 4 (Chris Mackenzie 2, Samir Suhag 2).

Action Polo 6 (Gaurav Sahgal 1, Abhimanyu Pathak 3, Manupal Godhara 2) bt Jindal Steel & Power 5-1/2 (Simran Shergill 2, Max Charlton 2. 1-1/2 goals on handicap). Wednesday's fixtures: 12:30pm: Elevation vs. IPG (Pool B) at Jaipur Polo Ground.

3:30pm: Action Polo vs Sahara Warriors at the Army Equestrian Centre (Delhi Cantt).
