Bhullar in lead at Bangladesh open

Gaganjeet Bhullar grabbed the lead for India on the opening day of the American Express Bangladesh Open Professional Golf Championship 2011 with a classic four under 68 at the Kurmitola Golf Club. Bhullar’s compatriots Raju Ali Mollah and Keshav Kapoor are in the tied second with matching scores of three under 69.

Du women’s football team finishes second

Delhi University claimed second spot in the All India Inter-Varsity women’s football event that concluded recently at Gwalior. In the final, DU lost to Madurai 2-4. In the preliminary round, out of the four matches, Delhi had won three and played out a draw and slammed 8 goals overall.
