"Complete anarchy and chaos have gripped Bihar with law and order having collapsed under NDA rule led by Nitish Kumar," Prasad told reporters in Patna.

"Naxalites are involved in the carnage which is another clear example of breakdown in law and order," he said, demanding a judicial probe.

He alleged that the chief minister was avoiding visiting the massacre site.

"People of the state have geared up to give a farewell to the Nitish Kumar government," he claimed.

The RJD leader said a fact-finding team led by LJP President Ramvilas Paswan was on its way to Amosi Bharen village where 16 people were killed by suspected Maoists.

Lalu also demanded that the state government pay an ex-gratia of Rs ten lakh to the next of kin of each victim.
