Photos: Mother-son duo provide free masks in Delhi’s CR Park

As coronavirus cases continue to surge in Delhi, one city resident in the national capital’s Chittaranjan Park area and her son have taken up the task of providing face masks, which have now become a necessity, to those who are needy. Fifty-six year old Laxmi Das has so far stitched over 2,000 reusable cotton masks that have been distributed by her son free of cost from 5 dispensers in the locality.

“These are reusable cotton masks. Every day, around 25-40 masks are made and put into boxes at five locations in Chittaranjan Park,” Das said.
