Eleven security personnel of CRPF’s elite CoBRA unit and Jharkhand police are injured in an IED blast in Saraikela-Kharsawan district of the state. According to officials, the Maoist ambushed the patrolling party by planting several improvised explosive devices under a culvert near a hilly in Rai Sindri hills under Kuchai police station of the district. Ten people have died in little more than two weeks after poor weather cut the climbing window, leaving mountaineers waiting in long queues to the summit, risking exhaustion and running out of oxygen.
