Photos: Maharashtra reports decline in Covid-19 cases and casualties

On October 26, Maharashtra recorded its lowest single-day Covid-19 caseload and fatality figure in 125 days. Compared to September, daily Covid-19 cases and casualties in Maharashtra have seen a sharp decline in October. The state’s capital, Mumbai on October 26 also reported a dip in the active caseload and deaths in the past two months. As of October 26, Maharashtra’s recovery rate was 89.2% and the case fatality rate remained constant at 2.63%.
