Photos: The Indian Air Force celebrates its 88th foundation day

The Indian Air Force (IAF) celebrated its 88th anniversary today with a showcase at the Hindon Airbase in Ghaziabad. The IAF, established in 1932, celebrates Indian Air Force Day on October 8 every year to mark its foundation day. The occasion was celebrated with a ceremonial parade and flypast involving a variety of aircraft at the Hindon airbase. Air Chief Marshal Rakesh Kumar Singh Bhadauria and Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) Gen Bipin Rawat presided over the event.
