Delicate, oh-so-feminine lace has a fierce new avatar
The dainty, oh-so-feminine Chantilly lace has come of age. Fierce, structured stencil pattern is the new avatar of traditional lace. Be it dresses, skirts or even shoes and bags, laser-cut out patterns at the hottest trend in town. We spotted many celeb fashionistas upping the lace ante in stencilled, laser-cut form of good ol’ lace. Go ahead, take your pick of celeb inspiration to rock this trend as the days of delicate floral lace bodice and sleeves on your dress are long gone. The laser-cutout version of new-age lace packs a punch in the form of cutesy honeycomb patterns, intricate scalloped hemlines and geometric flowers.
