Gratitude: Often while carrying out our everyday life, we forget to be grateful for the things which are going well for us. Meditation and mindfulness: In today’s fast-moving world we pass days without noticing how they are going. We just sail through the week without being conscious of it. It is essential that even during this fast-moving pace we take time out to process our day, how it is going and take some time out to meditate, to become aware of our body, our thoughts and feelings. Self-care: Self-care is not just about pampering yourself by going to spas and shopping, it is about identifying things and activities that give you emotional peace. It could be talking to a friend, watching your favourite movie, reading a book or taking time out for yourself. (Pexels)expand-iconView Photos in a new improved layout

Get moving: Taking care of your physical health also has a positive impact on the mental and emotional health. So try to involve a physical activity in your day which gets you moving. It could be going for a jog, dancing to your favourite music or just working out in your room. This releases endorphins which are the “happy hormones” making us feel better.
