For people with a low social battery or social anxiety, facing social jetlag is extremely common. It refers to that feeling of exhaustion after socialising with people, even if for a brief period of time. "Social jet lag can set in quickly, sometimes within just 30 minutes of social interaction, while for others, it might hit a few days later, mimicking the lag from a long-haul flight," wrote Therapist Carolyn Rubenstein.
