The epicentre of the earthquake was Dingri County in Tibet's Xigaze, tremors of which also shook shaking buildings in neighbouring Nepal and even in parts of north India, including Delhi. The epicentre of the earthquake was in Tsogo Township of Dingri County, which has a population of approximately 6,900 people within a 20-km radius. Official data cited in a news agency PTI report says Dingri County has a population of over 61,000 people.
