Karan Johar also revealed during the success meet that he wanted to keep the runtime of the film under 250 minutes, owing to which he had to edit several songs in the final cut. It resulted in keeping the wedding number, Kudmayi, where Ranveer and Alia's characters get married, during the end credits. The song was released during the success meet.(Varinder Chawla)
