A thick blanket of fog covered several parts of North India on Monday morning with the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) issuing a fog warning. Several flights and trains have been canceled or delayed due to the weather conditions.

At 5:30 am on Monday, the visibility recorded in Punjab's Bhatinda was 0 metre, Amritsar 25 metres, and Ambala 25 metres. Hissar saw a visibility at 50 metres. In Delhi's Safdarjung, the visibility was at 25 metres, while in Palam it was 50 metres.  (Sanchit Khanna/Hindustan Times)
