Photos: A trip to the beach for Covid-19 patients in Barcelona

In an effort to humanize the recovery process after a long battle against the coronavirus disease (Covid-19), one Spanish hospital is taking patients to the beach on their first trip out of the ICU and towards more generalised care. Medical teams at the Hospital del Mar in Barcelona have been photographed wheeling patients across the road to waiting views of the Mediterranean Sea.
