From its lavish presidential suite and budget rooms to the museum and gallery, British artist Banksy’s “Walled Off Hotel,” in the occupied West Bank town of Bethlehem, is decked out in paintings and other statement pieces. Situated a few meters from Israel’s separation barrier, the hotel is often admired by guests drawn by Banksy’s fame and the location, but the owner himself has described the guesthouse as having the worst view of any hotel in the world, with every room looking out at the forbidding wall that separates the West Bank from Israel.

The hotel has limited car parking and its 10 rooms get just 25 minutes of direct sunlight a day. (Ilia Yefimovich / Getty Images) View Photos in a new improved layout

Every room of the hotel looks out at the forbidding part wall and part fence that cuts through the West Bank, which Israel says is a bulwark against Palestinian attackers. Palestinians however, see it as a symbol of state oppression. (Ilia Yefimovich / Getty Images) View Photos in a new improved layout
