Two persons were killed and two were injured as a car skidded off a flyover and fell over a rickshaw near Dhantori village on the GT Road on Sunday evening.

The deceased have been identified as Sewa Dass, a sadhu who was on his way to Vaishno Devi on a rickshaw, and Baljinder Singh, employed at the deputy commissioner's office in Mohali.
The two injured - Jaswant Singh and Paramjit Singh - were taken to the PGI in Chandigarh.
According to eye witnesses, after driver Baljinder Singh lost control over the car, it skidded off the flyover, killing Sewa Dass, who was on the service lane, on the spot.
Baljinder Singh succumbed to injuries while he was being taken to the hospital.
Police said Dass was identified by the name and address written on his rickshaw.
Injured Jaswant Singh told police that they were on their way from Delhi to Chandigarh when the accident took place.
The GT road remained blocked till the damaged car was lifted from the spot.
A nearby dhaba owner said he saw the car falling from the flyover and rushed to the spot to help the victims.
