3 armed motorcyclists snatch gold earrings, injure woman

Three unidentified armed motorcyclists injured a woman and snatched her gold earrings near village Rawalpindi. One of the robbers was apprehended by people and handed over to police.

Three unidentified armed motorcyclists injured a woman and snatched her gold earrings on Monday night near village Rawalpindi.

When the victim resisted, the snatchers attacked and wounded the woman. As she raised an alarm, some people nabbed one of the robbers and handed him over to police. Other two managed to flee.

The victim was admitted in local civil hospital. Police are investigating the matter.

In another incident, one laptop worth Rs one lakh was stolen from the room of two students in local Bhagatpura locality last night. Mukesh, a student of a private university in Jalandhar, said he along with his roommate returned to find their room burgled. Police have registered a case.
