The junior Bachchan, who recently bought the Jaipur Pink Panther team for Pro Kabaddi League (PKL), was here to select the design and logo for his team dress.

Talking exclusively to Hindustan Times, Bachchan said he had chosen the game to promote traditional Indian games.

"I feel proud while promoting the game. I want to come up with something new and kabaddi is an indigenous sport. Other sports such as tennis, football and cricket are Western," he said.

Bachchan visited TK Sports to choose the design, logo and colour for his team dress and spent about one and half hour there to discuss the details.

The actor, who came from Shimla, will pay obeisance at the Golden Temple in Amritsar.
