Adampur shivers at -0.4°C

Adampur on Thursday recorded coldest morning as the mercury dipped to minus 0.4 °C. The intense cold wave held its grip strong over the region, as mercury kept dipping. With sun casting its presence in major parts of the region, Chandigarh did get a breather from cold wave as mercury rose to 7.1 °C.

Adampur on Thursday recorded regions coldest morning as the mercury dipped to minus 0.4 °C. The intense cold wave held its grip strong over the region, as mercury kept dipping.

With sun casting its presence in major parts of the region, Chandigarh did get a breather from cold wave as mercury rose to 7.1 °C.

However, amid icy waves, the upper-northern region's temperature kept plummeting with Srinagar recording a minimum temperature of -3.4°C and Leh with a temperature of -16.4°C.

Plains did get a little respite from bone chilling temperatures with Bathinda recording a minimum temperature of 3.6 °C, followed by Amritsar that recorded a low of 4.2°C.
