Gen Suhag will interact with army veterans and 'Veer Naris' (war widows) during the rally to be held at Jhajjar police lines.

Jhajjar deputy commissioner Anshaj Singh said that the district administration is making all the necessary arrangements to host the rally in which over 30,000 veterans and their dependents from nine Haryana districts, namely Rohtak, Jhajjar, Jind, Bhiwani, Hisar, Rewari, Fatehabad, Sirsa and Mahendergarh, would participate.

Addressing a joint meeting of district officials and Zila Sainik Board, the deputy commissioner said the traffic on Jhajjar-Bahadurgarh road would be diverted to avoid any inconvenience to participants. He said that for special guests, two helipads had been set up near the rally site.

Notably, Gen Suhag hails from Bishan village of Jhajjar district, where his parents still live. Officials said that the rally aimed at on-the-spot resolution of grievances of ex-servicemen.
