ASI, home guard get 5 year jail for supplying drugs
The three were arrested with 1.20-kg opium by Baliawanwali police on April 14, 2013. The three convicts were plying in a car when a police party stopped them near Khokhar village for checking. The banned substance was recovered from the vehicle.

The court of additional sessions judge Paramjeet Kaur, on Tuesday, sentenced to five-year imprisonment Manjeet Singh, a resident of Barnala, who was posted as ASI in Punjab police when arrested, Tar Singh, who was a home guard and a resident of Balianwali, and Kuldeep Singh of Dialpura Mirza in Bathinda in a drug supplying case.
The three were arrested with 1.20-kg opium by Baliawanwali police on April 14, 2013.
