Speaking to media persons at Qadian, he said that these specialist doctors provided medical facilities not only to the villages in the area but also residents of scores of surrounding villages.

Bajwa claimed that these CHCs did not have even the basic medical facilities now and asked the government to review its decision and restore postings of specialist doctors at the said hospitals immediately.

Bajwa later visited the house of a road accident victim Kamal Jyoti on Sunday and expressed sympathy with the bereaved family.
