Known for his unique style of satire, comedian-turned-politician Bhagwant Mann chose the traditional tractor-trolley as his vehicle when he went to file his nomination papers on Monday.
Accompanied by his mother, wife and a big gathering of rickshaw pullers and labourers, Mann stopped the tractor outside the mini-secretariat building and filed his nomination papers.
"Now every common man is with the Aam Aadmi Party, as people of this country are fed up with the old and corrupt political system," he told mediapersons.
"Unemployed youths, labourers, farmers and mothers of drug-addicts, who play a key role in making
governments, are with me. I don't need the company of big politicians," Mann said in a reply to a question.
"In democracy, people make politicians and the latter forget the former after winning elections but this time people will win and politics will lose," he added.
