The district Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) wing on Monday termed chief minister Virbhadra Singh's three-day tour to Hamirpur as a “big fiasco”.
Three BJP MLAs, ID Dhiman, Vijay Agnihotri and Narendra Thakur, in a joint statement here alleged that the chief minister was working like a dictator and trying to frame false charges against the senior BJP leaders.
They demanded that instead of ordering a probe into the properties of former chief minister Prem Kumar Dhumal, the chief minister should also order another probe into his own property.
The MLAs warned the chief minister of “pol kholo” (to expose) agitation if he didn't stop anti-BJP tirade.
Meanwhile, two senior district-level BJP leaders, Pyere Lal Sharma and Rasil Singh Mankotia, charged the CM of getting credits for the works that were initiated by the former BJP government led by Dhumal in the state. They said that no new project was inaugurated by the chief minister as he had given nothing to the district due to his feudal approach.
The two added that they should stop calling Anurag Thakur a novice in politics as he had thrice been elected to the Parliament. They added that whatever the CM had said about Thakur was an insult of the youth brigade as he was the All India BJYM chief.
