The bus had reportedly left for Haripore village in Hanumangarh district of Rajasthan from Lambi.

The bus rolled down the road and overturned after the driver reportedly lost control over it while negotiating a turn after crossing a bridge. The local residents rushed to the help of the passengers immediately. The police also reached the spot.

"Six persons were admitted to the government hospital in Lambi while the one who was seriously injured was rushed to the GGS medical college and hospital, Faridkot. The bus driver appears to have lost control over the bus after crossing a bridge due to a turn and the bus overturned. However, no casualty has been reported," said Manvinderbir Singh, deputy superintendent of police (DSP), Malout.

"They have small injuries like fractures," he added.
