SAD secretary Daljit Cheema reacts to PPCC president’s remarks that Shiromani Akali Dal will completely disintegrate before the 2017 assembly elections
Reacting to Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee president Captain Amarinder Singh’s remark that the ruling Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) will completely disintegrate before the 2017 assembly elections, SAD secretary Daljit Cheema told him to stop living in a fool’s paradise.

“It is time you (Captain) hung up your boots,” said Cheema, pointing to Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi’s refusal to name him the party’s chief ministerial candidate on Saturday.
Captain had said that several senior leaders and prominent workers of the SAD were waiting for the code of conduct to come into force before they could resign from the party to join the Congress.
