Chhotepur to go on one-day hunger strike against land bill
State convener of the Aam Aadmi Party Sucha Singh Chhotepur will observe a hunger strike at Sector 25 in Chandigarh on Thursday to protest against the Union government's land acquisition bill.

State convener of the Aam Aadmi Party Sucha Singh Chhotepur will observe a hunger strike at Sector 25 in Chandigarh on Thursday to protest against the Union government's land acquisition bill.
Terming the bill anti-farmer, Chhotepur said here on Wednesday debt-ridden farmers were already committing suicide in the state. He alleged that the anti-farmer policies of the successive Union government were responsible for the poor financial condition of the farmers in the country.
Chhotepur said after observing a day's hunger strike on Thursday, the future course of action would be decided after consulting the central leadership of the party. Chhotepur said AAP would not let farmers suffer due to wrong policies of the Union government.
