City girls secure top four spots in PU BCA-1 exam
Girls of Khalsa College for Women, Ludhiana, bagged all top four positions in Panjab University (PU) BCA first year exams, results of which were declared on Friday.
Girls of Khalsa College for Women, Ludhiana, bagged all top four positions in Panjab University (PU) BCA first year exams, results of which were declared on Friday.
Salony of Khalsa College for Women, Ludhiana, bagged first position by securing 707 of total 800 marks. Kritika Jain, Chahat Aggarwal and Mehak Garg, all from the same college clinched second, third and fourth positions, respectively.
Shreyans Jain of Satish Chandra Dhawan Government College, Ludhiana , Chahat Aneja of Post-Graduate Government College for Girls, Sector 11, Chandigarh got fifth and sixth positions, respectively. Khushboo and Ruchi Jain, both from Khalsa College for Women, Ludhiana shared seventh positions and Garima of Dev Samaj College for Women, Ferozepur city and Alisha Gupta of Guru Nanak Khalsa College for Women, Model Town, Ludhiana, shared the eighth spot.
Anureet Kaur, Madhuri Rani and Shalini Chaudhary of GTB Khalsa College for Women, Dasuya (Hoshiarpur), Dev Samaj College for Women, Ferozepur city and Post Graduate Government College for Girls, sector 42, Chandigarh, bagged ninth positions. Naina Grover of RSD College, Ferozepur city, got tenth position.
PU controller of examinations (CoE) professor Parvinder Singh said that 39.55% students passed BCA first year. As many as 3,143 students had appeared for BCA first year examinations and of them 1,243 have passed.
