Dara Singh's ashes to be immersed at Kiratpur Sahib on July 16

The ashes of wrestler-turned-actor Dara Singh, who passed away on Thursday at the age of 83, would be immersed at Kiratpur Sahib, a Sikh religious place in Rupnagar district, on Monday afternoon.

Former NRI Sabha president Kamaljit Singh Hayer said that Dara Singh's son-in-law Daman Mann had told him on phone that the ashes would be immersed at the holy place at 2pm.

Dara Singh originally hailed from village Dharamuchakk near Amritsar.
