DAV holds maths exhibition

DAV Public School, BRS Nagar, held a mathematics exhibition ‘Wonder World of Math’, in which students of Classes 1-10 participated in various creative activities.

They had prepared various models, charts, illustrations and powerpoint presentations. A variety of topics were taken up by them like making shapes and diagrams, mental calculations, compiling photographs and life histories of renowned mathematicians.

Avninder Preet Singh, maths professor in Malwa Central College of Education, was the chief guest at the event who appreciated the efforts put in by the students.

Dele g ates from Russia, Eugene and Ukasana, who were also present at the event, boosted the morale of the children. The principal of the school, JK Sidhu lauded the efforts of the students and the teachers and stressed upon the relevance of such activities.
