DC directs revenue officials to step up efforts to recover loans

Deputy commissioner Kumar Rahul on Saturday directed officials of the revenue department to approach the loan defaulters personally over the next 10 days to recover money. Taking stock of recovery cases done in January, the DC pulled up officials of the revenue department and directed them to pursue the cases till February 15.

Taking stock of recovery cases done in January, the DC pulled up officials of the revenue department and directed them to pursue the cases till February 15.

He directed tehsidars and naib-tehsildars to coordinate with officials of other departments in order to recover government money. "If defaulters fail to deposit money, arrest them and put them in jail," the DC instructed the officials and warned them that strict action would be taken if they fail to comply with the instructions.
