Dera Sacha Sauda opens 400-bed multi-speciality hospital

Adding another chapter in its pro-poor activities, Dera Sacha Sauda's ambitious 400-bed multi-specialty hospital was inaugurated by dera head Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Insan here on Friday.

Adding another chapter in its pro-poor activities, Dera Sacha Sauda's ambitious 400-bed multi-specialty hospital was inaugurated by dera head Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Insan here on Friday. People belonging to the economically weaker sections would be provided free medical facilities at the hospital, which has been named Shah Satnam Ji Specialty Hospital.

The inaugural ceremony was different. Dera head planted two big bottle palm trees on the hospital campus.
The hospital is shaped like a heart and is spread over 1.5 lakh sq feet area.

The Dera head said that all modern facilities would be made available at the hospital the treatment would be free for the economically weaker sections.

Dera spokesperson Aditya Insan said that the machines for the hospital had been imported from Germany, Japan and Netherlands. "It has a state-of-the-art operating theatre," he said.

He said that the treatment cost at the hospital were nominal. "The coronial transplant which costs about `1 lakh in other hospitals, will be done for just `6,000 only. The hospital will provide free treatment to the economically poor people," he added.
