Drugs seized; woman among seven arrested

The Nakodar Sadar police on Wednesday arrested seven people, including a woman, on a charge of selling drug powder and illicit liquor. From accused Gita; Money of Mohalla Kamalpura; Joginderpal; Amarjit Singh of Bajuha Khurd village; Lalit Kishore of Mohalla Kishan Nagar; Varinder of Shankar village; and Lovepreet of Malrri village, the police claim to have seized 1,065-gram drug powder and 24 bottles of illicit liquor.
