Faridkot: New court inaugurated for Jaitu subdivision

Justices TPS Mann and Lisa Gill, judges of the Punjab and Haryana high court, on Saturday, jointly inaugurated the new sub-divisional level judicial court in Jaitu town of the district.

"The new court at Jaitu will relieve the people of 41 villages of Jaitu subdivision as, earlier, they had to go to Faridkot for any court work," said Justice Mann.

Ajay Mittal has been appointed new sub-divisional judicial magistrate of the court. Satwinder Singh, district and sessions judge, Faridkot, was also present on the occasion.
