The departmental promotion committee (DPC) on January 23 cleared names of two Chandigarh police inspectors — Daleep Rattan in crime branch and in-charge of economic offences wing (EOW) Harjit Kaur — on the basis of seniority.
Inspector Daleep Rattan had joined Chandigarh police as assistant sub inspector (ASI) in January 1987.
