Rajya Sabha member Kumari Selja has urged the Ambala MLA, Venod Sharma, to stop making 'baseless statements' which went against the interests of the party.


She said this while replying to a query about Venod's recent statement wherein he had held Selja responsible for the lack of development in Ambala, here on Friday.
"The people of Ambala know about my contribution to the progress and development of the area. It does not need a certificate from any one," she said.

Selja was here to take part in a blood donation camp, organised to mark the Ravi Das Jayanti. She exhorted the people to follow the ideals of Guru Ravi Das for better social harmony.
