Four booked for killing gangster in Moga

A day after four bike-borne youth shot dead a history-sheeter Arvinder Singh, alias Ravi, 30, at his native village Lopo in Nihal Singh Wala subdivision here, the district police on Tuesday booked four persons, including two gangsters.

Arvinder was returning home on his tractor when four men on two bikes fired shots at him resulting in his death.

The accused, declared proclaimed offenders, have been identified as Gagandeep Singh, alias Gagna Hathuria, of Hathur village and Navdeep Singh, alias Navi, of Butter Kalan village. The police have also booked their accomplice Anandeep Singh, alias Amna, of Lopo village.

The case has been registered under Sections 302 (murder) and 34 (acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and 25,27-54-59 sections of the Arms Act at Badhni Kalan police station.

As per the information, Ravi, a close aide of “Dhruv Gang”, a rival gang of Hathuria group.
