Gangrape: Four get life term
A Patiala court has awarded life imprisonment to four men in a gangrape case registered in July 2012. Additional sessions judge Anshul Berry convicted Amandeep Singh, Harinderjit Singh, Kulwant Singh and Narinder Nellu, all residents of village Sular, for kidnapping and raping a minor girl.

A Patiala court has awarded life imprisonment to four men in a gangrape case registered in July 2012. Additional sessions judge Anshul Berry convicted Amandeep Singh, Harinderjit Singh, Kulwant Singh and Narinder Nellu, all residents of village Sular, for kidnapping and raping a minor girl.
The men had abducted the girl from near the Sheesh Mahal and raped her in a forest at Dakala.
In another case, the court of additional sessions judge Sanjiv Berry handed seven years' imprisonment to Jasvir Singh, a resident of Patran, in a rape and abduction case from July 2012.
