The SHO said raids were being conducted to nab him and would be arrested within a couple of days. Three minor boys named in the FIR were set free.

The victim was going to her friend's place on December 13 evening, when one accused forced her to sit on his motorcycle. She alleged that she was taken to Ismailpur village and later to Balwinder's house where all the accused raped her. The accused threatened to kill her if she reported the matter to anyone.
