Gurdaspur SSP Gurpreet Singh Toor said, "With the performance of the last rites of the slain Pakistani terrorists, closure is expected to be achieved. The post-mortem of their bodies was conducted by a board of three doctors each at the civil hospital in Gurdaspur on Friday and the three had taken a total of seven bullets."
