Hindu leaders try to stop Delhi-Lahore bus, taken into custody

As many as 50 workers of Hindu Jagriti Manch and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday tried to stop Delhi-Lahore bus at PAP Chowk, Jalandhar in protest against Pakistan's 'involvement' in Gurdaspur terror attack.

As many as 50 workers of Hindu Jagriti Manch and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday tried to stop Delhi-Lahore bus at PAP Chowk, Jalandhar in protest against Pakistan's 'involvement' in Gurdaspur terror attack.

Hindu Jagriti Manch's Punjab unit chief Mandeep Bakshi along with other workers, who were on their way to PAP Chowk to disrupt the movement of Delhi-Lahore Bus, known as Sada-e-Sarhad, were taken into preventive custody by Navi Baradari police at BSF Chowk.

The bus changed its course and crossed the area under tight security.

Meanwhile, the Shiv Sena party workers burnt the Pakistan flag during their protest against Gurdaspur incident.
