Hisar varsity mulling open-book exam system

The Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology (GJUST) is pursuing complete automation of administrative offices of the university besides starting a system of open book examination as part of internal assessment of students.

The Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology (GJUST) is pursuing complete automation of administrative offices of the university besides starting a system of open book examination as part of internal assessment of students.

This was stated by Karam Pal Narwal, professor of Business Management, Haryana School of Business, and director, Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), here on Monday.

"To attract NRI and foreign students to the university, GJUST has decided to prepare database for advance study in technical education," Narwal said.

He added that, "The work on computerisation of all offices and branches, encouraging community and social participation and upgrading the library to e-library, library automation and library networking is already in progress.
