Industrialists discuss issues with ministers
A meeting was held between industrialists and political leaders to discuss issues concerning the local industry on Saturday.

A delegation led by Upkar Singh Ahuja, general secretary, Chamber of Industrial and Commercial Undertakings, discussed the issues with ministers and other leaders.
Education minister Daljit Singh Cheema, public works department minister Sharanjit Singh Dhillon, adviser to the chief minister Mahesh Inder Singh Grewal and MLA Ranjit Singh Dhillon were present during the meeting.
The issues that were discussed during the meeting included providing more than one electricity connection on one premises, revision of medium of power connection limit, refund of VAT, setting up of electroplating cluster for small-scale units, setting up of new focal point and an exhibition centre for the industries.
Leaders listened to the issues raised by the industrialists and assured that they would present the issues before the chief minister.
The industrial delegation included Manjit Singh Khalsa, Inderjit Nagpal, Subhash Gupta among others.
