Installation ceremony held at GCG

Government College for Girls (GCG) organised the installation ceremony of the Self- Finanacing and a movie- making competition on Tuesday.

Government College for Girls (GCG) organised the installation ceremony of the Self- Finanacing and a movie- making competition on Tuesday. Principal Gurminder Kaur was the chief guest at the event who was welcomed by the society head Varienderjit Kaur.

Seven teams participated in the movie-making competition. The topic of the competition was 'The Role of Youth and Technology in the upliftment of the Nation'.

Surabhi, Amanjot, Rupinka and Khushmaan's team got the first prize while Diksha, Aarti, Amisha and Harsimarn's got the second prize and Deepika, Tavleen, Shreya and Chahat secured the third position.

Tavleen Kaur was declared the society's president. Other office bearers included vice-president Taranpreet Kaur, treasurer Nitika Garg, Chahat as addtitional treasurer, Arshleen (secretary) and Nikita Singla as joint secretary.

Vice-principal Krishan Singh was also present.
