Proving their dominance, Patiala team won the final by defeating visitors Bathinda by a margin of 55-27.
Meanwhile in the third spot match, Chandigarh team defeated Ludhiana by 42-33 score.
The event was inaugurated by philanthropist SP Singh. Vice-chancellor Punjabi University Jaspal Singh was the chief guest on the closing ceremony of the tournament. Around eight teams from all over state including Bathinda, Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Sangrur, Khanna, Punjab Elite, Patiala and Barnala had participated in this tournament.
