Man gets 7-yr jail in fake currency case
The court of additional district and sessions judge Harveen Bhardwaj awarded seven-year imprisonment to Sartaj Singh of Punjabi Bagh on Saturday.

The court of additional district and sessions judge Harveen Bhardwaj awarded seven-year imprisonment to Sartaj Singh of Punjabi Bagh on Saturday.
He was arrested by the CIA staff near Guru Ravidass chowk on January 5, 2008 after recovery of fake currency of Rs 44,000 from his car. A fine of Rs 5,000 has also been imposed upon him.
The court of additional district and sessions judge Harbans Singh Lekhi also awarded nine-month imprisonment to Sukhdev Thakur of Bhopal, who was arrested by Navi Baradari police on April 7, 2013 after recovery of 100gm intoxicant powder from his possession. A fine of Rs 500 has also been imposed upon him
