Man shoots at wife, son

Balbir Singh, a man from Jajjal village, on Monday shot at his wife and son (20) in a fit of rage. The police said he doubted his wife, Karanjit Kaur, to be unfaithful and so he had fired at her from his licenced weapon. A bullet hit the woman in the shoulder and another hit the son, Rajpreet Singh, in the foot when he tried to step in to make peace. Balvir Singh is on run since the crime and the police have charged him with attempt to murder.
