Driving a vehicle in Mansa can actually slow you down, as the roads are choked most of the time with vehicles parked haphazardly, rampant encroachment by shopkeepers.
Traffic at water works road near the civil hospital, the Cinema Road, Gaushala Road, the Bara Hatta road, is a nuisance. Most of the convent school including Mai Nikko devi, DAV public school, Vidya Bharti School, government girls school falls near water works road but unplanned parking leads to chaos on roads during opening and closing time of schools.
Most of the shops owned by Arhtiyas are in the Bara Hatta road. With farmers frequenting the area, traffic jams have become a matter of routine.
Another problem junction is the Sewa Singh Thikri Wala Chowk, opposite the bus stand. The road is congested due to illegal and haphazard parking. Buses coming in and out of the bus stand add to the the blockade of traffic.
The Rambagh Road is in a mess and the resultant path is then one-way and leads to jams on the road.

We are planning to make some parking slot that would act as solution to commuters who park their vehicles in the market. The public themselves also would have to understand and abide by their duties as administration alone cannot do everything. It becomes difficult when people in an unplanned way parks the vehicles in front of shops. If these are parked strategically and in compliance with traffic rules, the problem to great extent would be solved. We are looking some vacant places that could be turned into parking slots."

The administration should take immediate action as it's a need of the hour. The traffic chaos is a big problem as it crawls only because of illegal and unplanned parking. The grain market should be taken as a parking slot and public should park their vehicles there giving relief to the roads.

Roads should be widened and civil hospital should be shifted to some other place where the patient could be taken through main road. The patients had to reach crossing the streets that are congested.
The one way traffic road is always blocked and traffic crawls on it. People face too much problem with school buses moving through these roads. No traffic police official remains there. The vehicles are parked before shops but where do shopkeepers park their vehicles? There is no space given to us for parking.
Parking slots are needed urgently as the markets are occupied with vehicles parked near shops. We had number of times reached and appealed the district administration officials. The vacant spaces in mansa city should be turned into parking slots where the vehicles can be parked. Police sometimes challan the vehicles but it is not fair as the government should provide the facility first at least.
