Minor girl raped in Batala
A minor girl was allegedly raped by a street hawker outside Qazi mori gate here, police said on Tuesday. Prem Kumar, a resident of Kapuri Gate, lodged a complaint with the police that he had found a minor girl at Dera Baba Nanak road last night who told him that she was raped by a street hawker.

A minor girl was allegedly raped by a street hawker outside Qazi mori gate here, police said on Tuesday.
Prem Kumar, a resident of Kapuri Gate, lodged a complaint with the police that he had found a minor girl at Dera Baba Nanak road last night who told him that she was raped by a street hawker.
Police registered a rape case against the hawker, identified as Sunny but he is absconding.
The girl was handed over to her parents after medical examination at civil hospital here.
