NRI drowns as car falls into canal
Non-resident Indian Jagmohan Singh (24) from Panjgrain Khurad village drowned late Friday in a rajbaha when his car fells into the irrigation channel on the Jaitu-Bathinda bypass.

Non-resident Indian Jagmohan Singh (24) from Panjgrain Khurad village drowned late Friday in a rajbaha when his car fell into the irrigation channel on the Jaitu-Bathinda bypass. Two of his friends had a miraculous escape and came out of the canal.
Jagmohan had moved to Canada for study and was returning home after meeting some friend when the accident occurred.
The NRI's boday was recovered early Friday from the canal near Koharwala village.
